The detailed artwork captures the goat's playful personality through its expressive appearance and dynamic pose.

Also incorporated into the reverse are the Chinese character representing 'goat', the inscription 'YEAR OF THE GOAT' and The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark.
